Mold and bacteria control methods
(1) Maintain cleanliness: Keep the cultivation area clean and dry, and dispose of waste and contaminated materials properly. Regularly disinfect tools and equipment.
(2) Ensure thorough sterilization: Avoid temperature drops and uneven heat during sterilization. Expel cold air before high-pressure sterilization.
(3) Quick inoculation: Minimize exposure to air and inoculate promptly, using a higher inoculum volume to reduce contamination risks.
(4) Use strong, pure spawn: Choose vigorous, disease-resistant spawn and discard degraded ones.
(5) Ensure sterile conditions: Keep the inoculation room and equipment clean, following aseptic procedures.
(6) Frequent inspections: Check regularly during incubation and fruiting, removing contaminated substrates to prevent further spread.
Pest control methods
(1) The spawn room and cultivation room should be located away from warehouses and rly to thrive.
(2) Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the cultivation room to prevent excess moisture. If severe, use fly traps or place paper with a 0.1% dichlorvos solution and a few drops of honey to lure and kill pests.
