It will also make it difficult for the needle holes to recover. If the needle holes do not grow mycelium for a long time, in this high-temperature and high-humidity environment, the surface of the shiitake logs will be prone to bacterial infection, leading to black water leakage. Therefore, after large holes are punctured in spring-planted over-summering shiitake logs, never spray water directly on the logs to cool them down.
