Pleurotus pulmonarius- a variety of oyster mushroom

       Pleurotus pulmonarius cultivation is mostly done in bags, with both traditional farming methods and industrial cultivation models.In traditional farming, bags are made in batches according to the season. After inoculation, the bags are placed in mushroom houses for mycelium growth. During hot seasons, the bags are opened, and after cold stimulation, the mushrooms are induced to fruit. Traditional farming typically uses solid spawn, with a cultivation period of 2–3 months and a fruiting cycle of 3 months or longer. The main yield is from the 1st to 3rd flushes, with 6–7 harvests in total.Industrial cultivation is not affected by the seasons, uses liquid spawn, and has a cultivation period of 50–60 days. Mushrooms fruit explosively, with the fruiting cycle for each flush as short as 7 days.
