Reasons for the difference in cultivation patterns and yields between the north and the south:
It is common sense that the amount of nutrient supply determines the yield, but in many areas in the south, the cultivation scheme of small bags and small amounts of nutrient bags has been used. Small bags of 0.4 kg are used, and only about 1,000 kg of nutrient bags are used per mu of land, and the yield is mostly 200-400 kg. In the north, large bags and large quantities are mostly used, with a dosage of about 2,000 kg per mu, and the yield can reach 500-1,000 kg.
This is not a simple technical habitual problem, but has a lot to do with the simplicity of facilities, soil quality and the length of the growing season in the south. Large nutrient bags and large quantities will prolong the utilization cycle of decomposition and absorption, leading to late maturity and high temperature risks. Clay soil has small porosity. If it is not handled properly, a large number of sclerotia will form in the nutrient bag, which will hinder the downward transportation of nutrients and reduce the utilization efficiency. Increasing the amount of input does not necessarily lead to high yields.
