Key Management Points for Color Change and Fruiting Stages in Cordyceps militaris Cultivation

       After the surface of the culture medium is covered with hyphae, it enters the primordium induction period. The temperature is maintained at 20~24℃ during the day and 10~12℃ at night. Temperature difference stimulation promotes the development of hyphae. The air humidity is about 65%, and the scattered light is 100~200 lux 24 hours a day to induce the formation of primordium. After the needle-shaped primordium appears, the daytime light increases to 14~15 hours, and the temperature is adjusted to 20~22℃. At the same time, the plastic film is pierced with a puncture device for ventilation to promote the growth of fruiting bodies.

       When a large number of needle-shaped primordia are formed in the culture pot, it enters the grass emergence stage. At this time, attention should be paid to the temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration and environmental control of the culture room. Keep the culture room clean and sanitary, and disinfect the ground regularly. The culture temperature is controlled at 18~22℃, the humidity is 80%~85%, and the scattered light is irradiated for 12~14 hours a day, with a light intensity of 300~500 lux. The fruiting body grows vigorously during the grass emergence stage, and ventilation should be strengthened to avoid excessive C0 concentration and malformation.
