Management and key points of Morchella cultivation

Management and key points of Morchella cultivation :

Morchella mycelium cultivation is divided into two periods. The early stage of cultivation is to decompose the culture material and accumulate nutrients. The later stage is to promote physiological maturity, so that the mycelium is twisted into primordium, laying the foundation for the later stage of budding.

After the nutrient bag is put into the ground, the temperature is above 10℃, and the mycelium of Morchella will generally be bagged within 48 hours. The normal growth of Morchella mycelium is thick and strong, growing forward in a radial shape, and the color is gray.

When the mycelium is white, thick white, or eats slowly, and the mycelium clumps, it is often caused by low pH of the nutrient bag, which will seriously affect the decomposition and absorption of nutrients and the effect of mushroom production.

The soil is compacted, the water content is high, the humidity under the film is high, and the air permeability of the soil is poor, which is not conducive to the downward growth of mycelium. The nutrient return in the nutrient bag will also be affected. At this time, it is often manifested as slow weight loss of the nutrient bag, a large number of sclerotia in the nutrient bag, many aerial mycelium on the surface, and even the formation of mycelium skin, which will have an adverse effect on the later maturity and mushroom production.
