2. Cultivation method
Flammulina velutipes cultivation can be divided into bottle cultivation and plastic bag cultivation according to the container used. Plastic bag cultivation has lower investment, wide application range, and is easy to start production. Bottle cultivation has high investment and is suitable for industrial production.

1. Bottle
Artificial cultivation of Flammulina velutipes in bottles started with the earliest glass bottles until 1966, when the development of PP bottles replaced glass bottles, which made a qualitative leap in the development of Flammulina velutipes. The general capacity is 350~450ml and the diameter is 3~4cm. With the development of factory cultivation of Flammulina velutipes, the capacity of the bottle has increased from 500ml to 1400ml, and the diameter has increased from 52mm to 85mm.
2. Cover
(1) The role of the cover in the cultivation of Flammulina velutipes is to prevent condensed water from entering the bottle during the sterilization process, causing the water content of the culture medium to increase and affect the growth of mycelium; filter out miscellaneous bacteria; maintain air permeability and promote mycelium growth; prevent the culture medium in the bottle from drying out.
