How to prepare the culture medium for straw mushrooms?

1. Loading

After the pre-fermentation, the culture medium should be loaded while hot as much as possible. When the culture medium with a water content of more than 69% is loaded, it should be loaded loosely, and it is not necessary to compact it vigorously when the mushroom bed is flat. The culture medium with a water content of 66%~68% can be compacted more. Usually, 1 ton of wet culture medium can be laid on 20~25 square meters (12~15 kilograms per square meter in dry weight), and the thickness of the mushroom bed should be 12~15 cm.

2. Steam heating post-fermentation

In order to maintain the temperature of 60℃ required for post-fermentation, steam heating is used. In order to make the temperature of the post-fermentation space uniform, the air needs to be circulated and ventilated. When the temperature of each layer of culture medium reaches 58~63℃, maintain it for 8~10 hours, and then slowly cool it down. When the culture medium temperature is about to reach 40℃, sow it in time for warming.

3. Furnace heating post-fermentation

After the culture medium is loaded, move it into the furnace for heating immediately. A 100m' mushroom house needs 4 coal stoves made from oil drums. Start the fire in advance and burn it vigorously. The temperature of the culture material can reach 62℃ after 4-5 hours of burning, and it can be maintained for 8-10 hours. Provide proper ventilation and cool down slowly. When the culture material temperature drops to 40℃, sowing can be carried out (pay attention to fire prevention).
