During the mycelial cultivation stage, the bags should be turned 3-4 times to ensure even mycelial growth. The first turning inspection is generally performed when the mycelial ring diameter reaches 5-6 cm (about the size of an egg). During turning, the bags should be interchanged (top to bottom, inside to outside), good bags should be stacked together, and contaminated bags should be removed and cleaned promptly. Bags should be placed sideways in the planting holes.
After the turning inspection, bags are generally stacked in a "well" shape (four bags per layer), with each stack 10-11 layers high. Double rows should be placed side-by-side to prevent tipping, leaving a 20 cm passage between stacks for ventilation and heat dissipation. Thereafter, turning should be performed every 10-15 days, incorporating measures such as removing the bag caps, removing the bags, and puncturing holes for ventilation. After puncturing holes, the amount of material stacked per unit area should be reduced. The arrangement of the mushroom bags gradually changed from a four-bag "well" shape to a three-bag "well" shape, then a three-bag "triangle" shape, and finally, after the mushroom bags were fully expanded, they should be arranged in a two-bag "well" shape.
