1. The shiitake log must be sterilized thoroughly: Shiitake mushrooms are generally sterilized at 117℃ for 8 hours. the lower temperature, the longer sterilization time
2. Before inoculation, the center temperature of shiitake log should be reduced to 20-22℃ in summer and 24-26℃ in winter, not exceeding 28℃.
3. The environment of the purification workshop must be thoroughly disinfected.
4. The mushroom spawn must be checked: do not allow spawn with miscellaneous bacteria to enter the inoculation machine hopper.
5. The hands of the operator who handles the mushroom spawn must be disinfected, and try not to touch any items other than the masses. The hands must be disinfected frequently in disinfectant.
6. During the inoculation process, the sealing degree of the mushroom spawn must be checked. Wear disposable gloves and press the mushroom spawn with your fingers, The mushroom spawn should not sink. Whether to put outer bag or tape depends on your culture environment and the tightness of the mushroom spawn hole.
