Oyster mushroom cultivation season and method
Oyster mushroom is an agricultural production, so it is seasonal. The temperature in different regions varies greatly, and the cultivation season is also different. At present, inoculation is mainly in spring and autumn. In summer and winter, with better facilities or technical measures, better cultivation results can also be obtained.
In autumn, bags are generally made in September. Large bags can produce mushrooms until April to May of the following year, and small and medium bags can produce mushrooms until February to March of the following year. In spring, inoculation is mostly carried out in March to April, and mushrooms are produced from April to June. Due to the short fruiting time, small bags are often selected for cultivation.
Most fermentation cultivation adopts layer sowing. With the mechanization of inoculation, mixed sowing is gradually expanding in fermentation cultivation. The ring is an important factor affecting yield and quality. The ring is used as much as possible for clinker cultivation. The diameter and height of the ring are also factors that affect yield and quality.
Clinker cultivation bag production: The production, sterilization, cooling, and inoculation of clinker cultivation bags for oyster mushrooms are not substantially different from those of most edible fungi, so they will not be repeated here. Compared with fermented materials, the cultivation bags used for mature material cultivation are smaller in size, which is conducive to thorough sterilization.
In addition, there are two points that need to be noted, one is whether to use a ring, and the other is which sealing method is used. At present, the efficiency of using branch strains for mature material cultivation of Oyster mushroom is relatively high. If plastic sealing is used before sterilization, it can be replaced with clean newspaper sealing after inoculation, which is conducive to ventilation and sterilization, and reduces the workload of opening bags later.
